THE FULL STORY
From Small Town to Professional Hockey
I grew up in North East, MD where I played baseball and ice hockey. My passion was to become a college basbeall player. I attended Delaware Valley University to study Sports Management and play baseball, I slowly found my current passion in sports media. I started my career in the sports information department with director Chris Elliott. Realizing the help needed, I immersed myself in learning the industry and how to promote sports at Delaware Valley. After my junior year, I used my experience to get a job with First Scout Productions. A company that strived to help young athletes scouted by college scouts. While working for them, I traveled to many tournaments along the east coast to shoot the best quality footage for the clients. After working a summer with First Scout, I went back to school for my senior year where I was promoted to broadcast manager where I operate a student ran broadcast for all teams at DelVal. I also administer my own social media account and create my own videos for DelVal. Using my expertise for sports media, I was interviewed and got a video production internship with the Reading Royals. At the Reading Royals, I am a technical director, replay operator, camera operator, and video editor. With my experience at Delaware Valley and Reading Royals, I am an expert at Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photshop, Illustrator, and many other skills.
Currently, I will be graduating in May 2023 with a Bachelors degree in sports management and minor in media and communications. After college, I aspire to edit videos and work on game days for an NFL, NHL, or MLB team.
